Problem
Coaches and athletes were relying on scattered tools — spreadsheets, messaging apps, paper questionnaires — for team management, feedback collection, session planning, and performance tracking. Nothing tied the workflow together, and coordinating a full support team (second coaches, nutritionists, physios, doctors, mental and endurance coaches) around one athlete meant working across several disconnected channels.
Solution
A single React Native app covering team management with role-aware access for coaches, second coaches, athletes, and support staff; questionnaire assignment and submission with trend history over time; a shared calendar for session planning; an insights dashboard for performance data; push notifications with deep-link routing straight to the relevant screen; and billing screens, currently handled manually with RevenueCat integration for automated Apple IAP and Google Play Billing planned as a next step. The backend runs on Firebase — Functions, Firestore, and Authentication with email/password and Google sign-in.
Outcome
The MVP feature set is complete: a working, feature-complete cross-platform mobile app that replaces the scattered toolset coaches and athletes were using before. The project is currently in release readiness — pre-release QA, the build pipeline, and the RevenueCat integration are still in progress ahead of a public release.
